Winton // The Hideaway 201 + Oreti River Autumn Wedding

Awesome day for Stacey & Scott on Saturday!

Stacey got ready with her bridesmaids at Ascot Park. Her Dad had passed away but she wanted to still keep a piece of him close to her heart on the day, so her gown had a pocket sewn in with a bit of his favourite hat.

Once dressed we did a first look with the bridesmaids, flower girl & her grandparents. This is always a good moment!

At the Hideaway the ceremony was happening on the steps under the tree lane. Instead of having an aisle leading up to the arch, guests were seated in a semicircle and Stacey entered via the tree lane. It was super dramatic and gave her this huge runway to walk down!

After exchanging vows & rings, her grandfather got up and sung a song - it was hilarious, just the thing to get everyone laughing! Guests then lined the tree lane so Stacey & Scott could cut the cake, do a toast and exit with people tossing flower petals!

We went off site for photos to the river with a picnic.

The marquee looked incredible - with festoon lighting, beautiful stationary and mini doughnuts as favours!! You could tell just how loved these two were by the speeches and cheering.

We snuck out at golden hour to get a few portraits and had a rich glowy orange sunset. Then it was time to get the sparklers out!

Finishing with a first dance and a packed dance floor, I can imagine the rest of the night was a massive party!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Thompson!
