I don’t even know where to start with Olivia & Cams day and I’m going to need to split this into two posts to fit in all of the goodness!
They both got ready at Edgewater resort in Wanaka. Cam and his side of the bridal party had a super relaxed morning and enjoyed some sport in the morning and a quick swim at the gorge before getting into their attire.
Olivia had the coolest dress - and the bridesmaids were in an array of colours. Her sister Kendell has custom made denim jackets for them all with lace inserts too. One of Olivias bridesmaids tried to get over from Aus but just couldn’t get there, so she had a life sized cardboard cutout made so she could be there in spirit!
There were multiple first looks - with grandparents, parents, the bridal party and finally with Cam out on the lawn by the pond. It was super cute and they exchanged gifts before heading off for photos.
These two love sports so we had a quick stop at the families holiday home for a game of backyard cricket! Then it was off to Dublin Bay for a picnic, drinks and some photos.
The whole wedding was held at Dublin Bay Weddings, a beautiful location high on a hill overlooking Dublin Bay.
They had such a beautiful ceremony with lots of emotion (I cried too) - you can just tell how much these two love each other, but also how much everyone around them adores and loves them too. With a tight knit group of friends and a spirit for adventure, travel and exploring, they have a very cool story together so far.
They walked out down the aisle to bubbles being shot from a gun and had a celebratory cheers with a glass of bubbles at the end!
The reception had so much detail and thought put into it and. If I had to describe it, I would say it gave off festival vibes!
With dream catchers, dried florals, honey from the family hives as favours, a travel globe to sign as a guest book, mix and match glassware, a photobooth, grazing platters and food trucks!
The family piped them into the reception where everyone just hung out, enjoyed the space and when they felt like it ordered dumplings, pizza or tacos from the food trucks.
Towards the end of the night everyone gathered in the marquee for some speeches and dancing. It was such a fun, relaxed and all round enjoyable day.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Lubransky! 🥂
