Abby & Sam had the coolest day on Saturday in Te Anau!
They both love the water, with Abby being a synchronised swimmer & Sam loves Kite boarding & sailing. Te Anau is a special place for them and so is the Marakura Yacht Club. Sam’s Mum even to me that was where she went into labour with him, so it’s a place that has family ties too.
They both got ready across the road at the motels. It was a super relaxed morning, with the kids having a great morning too.
The ceremony was held beside the jetty out in front of the club. It was a beautiful joining of family and they spoke some really special words to each other.
Being Easter Saturday they planned an Easter hunt for all of the kids! They had a blast and got quite a good haul of chocolate!
Keeping it simple we walked across the road to Ivan Wilson Park for photos in the Autumn colours. Back at the clubhouse they had a BBQ dinner, cake, speeches and parties then night away!
