Last week Gina and Gareth tied the knot beside the beach in Colac Bay.
They both had a relaxed morning with their friends (they had such a fun group for mates with them on the day). Gina’s gown was custom made by a family friend, and it looked amazing.
They decided to do a first look and photos before the ceremony to have as much time as they could with friends and family.
The house had awesome views and gardens - we were spoilt for choice, before heading down to the beach to get a few more photos.
Gina knew that she had a cool car coming to pick her up to drive her to the wedding that her parents had organised, but… little did she or anyone else apart from Mum and Dad, know that it was actually a helicopter!
It was peak excitement as they came and landed on the lawn. Gina & Dad in the front with the bridesmaids in the back. Flying over Riverton from the air was so cool! The coastline looks so rugged and water a beautiful turquoise.
The guests were just hanging out at the ceremony when the helicopter did a flew over and then circled and came to land (talk about making an entrance!) and the. It was straight into walking down the aisle.
It was a beautiful ceremony, with views down the beach. The wind whipped up once they finished, so everyone headed to the reception hall for drinks and nibbles.
They had some hilarious speeches during the reception. The pair met over in Germany at Oktoberfest, so this was woven into speeches and became a drinking game for one table! It was a really fun evening and when the dance floor kicked off, it was packed!
Such a fun day with a very cool crew. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Drake! 🥂
