Moa Flat // Clear Marquee Wedding on the Family Farm

Where do I even start with the incredible day Jenna & Mitch had for their wedding in the family farm at Moa Flat?! They had the PERFECT weather for a farm wedding. Blue skies, a bit of cloud, warm weather and no wind at all.

Mitch and the guys got ready down the road and enjoyed a relaxed morning. Meanwhile Jenna did make up (she is an amazing beautician at The Sanctuary) and the girls got glammed. After getting into gowns, the guys came up to the house and Jenna & her bridesmaids went to where Mitch was getting ready and her transport was awaiting.

The ceremony looked out over the rolling hills, with the clear marquee set up over the fence. The first date the Jenna and Mitch has was in the tractor doing farm work - so what better way to make an entrance, than in that very tractor!

They had a beautiful ceremony with the dogs wandering in and out. Heartfelt vows and walking out to a shower of dried petals.

Our first photo spot want way up the top of the farm, with views that looked all over Southland. No helicopter needed! They had snacks and drink and hung out before we went to location 2, which was just as spectacular. The little cottage we went to get photos at was actually where Mitchell’s grandparents lived when they were first on the family farm. It now has a tree growing out of it and it’s a spot where family members have been getting wedding photos over the years - how cool is that?!

They popped some bubbles and enjoyed a bit of chill time with the bridal party before heading back to the party 🎉

The reception was hilarious with some funny speeches, great food and an outdoor dance floor. The best part was just as Jenna changed into her dancing dress - the sun started to set, right behind them and the sky filled with this amazing pink/orange glow.

It was the perfect way to end an epic day and start the partying!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hancox!
