Invercargill // Black and Red Wedding at Ascot Park Hotel

Chrissy had a very specific idea for how she wanted her wedding to look and honestly, the vibe was vibing 👌🏼 This was the first time I have photographed a bride in a full black gown and she was absolutely rocking it.

Tom and the guys got ready at home before coming to the Ascot to play a bit of pool. They were giving off a real Peaky Blinders feel with the hat’s & suspenders!

Chrissy & the gals got glammed on site before heading out for the first look. Toms face was priceless - he was so stoked to see Chrissy 🥰

We went to Queens Park to get some photos in the twisty trees and with the red roses, before whipping into town to get a bit of an urban look too! The whole bridal party were such a fun group to be around, I knew they would have a fun night ahead!

The ceremony was on the lawn at Ascot Park Hotel. All of the guests were dressed in bright colours to contrast the blacks, which looked awesome. Making a dramatic entrance, Chrissy walking down the aisle with her Dad, while the nieces threw out red rose petals.

They said beautiful vows and Tom surprised Chrissy with a bouquet of flowers part way through his! They had a drink together before walking back down the aisle.

The reception was black with fairy lights scattered around. Family and friends gave speeches, sang and were so happy to be celebrating with them. The dance floor kicked off, the photobooth was giving people a chance to get goofy and the party kicked on! What a day. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Glew 🌹
