First wedding for 2023 was Ashleigh & Angus, who had flown over from Australia with the majority of their guests for a wedding at a little venue just outside of Gore - the Hawthorne Den Inn.
It was a roasting hot day in the South, which helped to add some Aussie vibes to the day! Angus got ready in a family property across from the venue. The guys had a great morning playing darts and enjoying a beer.
Ashleigh got ready at this amazing BnB that had these panoramic views down the valley.
The ceremony was under an arch that family made, in the bottom of the gardens. They read these beautiful vows to each other and walked out to a shower of petals.
We could just stay on site for photos, giving everyone heaps of down time to enjoy the cake & nibbles coming around. We did sneak Ashleigh & Angus off across the road to the farm for a little alone time, plus photos on the bridge Angus built one afternoon!
The reception was free for all seating with food coming around over the course of the night. The couple walked in and blew everyone away with a choreographed dance, full of lifts & dips. Speeches were heartfelt & emotional, before the dance floor opened and the party began.
What a way to set the bar team - such a relaxed and fun wedding under the sun. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Trusler! 🥂
