The sun was shining out at Borland Lodge for James & Priya’s wedding this weekend!
They spent the morning just relaxing and getting ready together with their bridal parties & two girls. James was given custom wooden cuff links that had the longitude/latitude of Borland, which was a cool gift idea!
The planned a first look in the forest, but best man Sam had other ideas and donned one of Priya’s dresses and surprised James instead.
The whole crew the went a short drive to Lake Monowai for some photos together. It is so beautiful out in Fiordland, you really are spoilt for choice with photo locations!
The ceremony was held in the forest at Borland, surrounded by bird song (so good) and 80,000 sand flies (insect repellent is your friend here). Priya walked down the aisle with her Mum. She also had some of her Dads ashes in a vial attached to her flowers, so he walked her down the aisle too ❤️
It was a short and sweet ceremony, with lots of happy tears! Later James got out his motorbike and we had some fun doing photos.
Priya had an outfit change into her Sari - which looked amazing for the reception.
They had an evening of kind words, good food & partying to celebrate. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Thomas! 🥂
