Sam and Jayde had such a fun day planned for their Cromwell wedding!
The guys got ready in a log cabin – they had colourful socks and suspenders with bow ties. You might notice they also had welts all over from paintball on the stag do the week before!
Jayde got ready with the girls at a beautiful property in Bannockburn. The house was buzzing with excitement all morning! We did a first look with the bridesmaids after Jayde got dressed – her gown was stunning and fit perfectly. Her parents had the best reactions when they first saw her.
They arrived in vintage cars to Lowburn Outlet. The ceremony was set up next to the lake and all the wooden chairs + tables had been made by Sam’s brother Aaron for the day.
It was a beautiful ceremony with readings, songs and lots of laughter and emotion.
After family photos and cake cutting the bridal party jumped into a couple of utes and headed out to the cherry orchard in Bannockburn that Sam’s family own. We had a great time in the orchard before I went with Sam and Jayde to the top of the mountain overlooking Cromwell for some alone time and photos of just the two of them.
On the way back to the reception we stopped at the jetty where Sam proposed to Jayde.
Weather wise you could not have had a better day - there was not a breath of wind which is very rare for Cromwell in February! The reception was outside and styled so well.
The speeches were hilarious, and Sam finished up by singing a song he had written for Jayde. I laughed so much I cried – it will go down as one of the greatest groom speeches ever!
Later that evening everyone moved into the hall for the first dance. As soon as the next song played the entire bridal party got up and started cutting shapes and carving up the dance floor! It was wild.
Such a perfect day for a fun, loving and stunning couple.
