You know those mornings that start in heavy fog, but clear to be those bluebird days in the winter? That’s exactly what happened on Saturday for Tracey & Gayan!
They planned their intimate wedding day in the space of about 3 weeks total, and everything came together perfectly.
They got ready together in the morning (with no bridal parties this can be a nice way to spend the morning, so you are not alone). We headed off for some photos at Butchers Dam, which was still and like a mirror, reflecting the surrounding hills.
The ceremony was held at The Packing Shed. Family & friends watched on as they said the most beautiful vows and sealed the deal under snow capped mountains.
After bubbles, congratulations & family photos they had a lunch time reception. A delicious meal with a Sri Lankan desert to finish! There were speeches & even a rap done by one of Tracey’s friends to Ice Ice Baby. She swapped the words out to tell their love story and it was SO good! Had the room in fits of laughter.
The best part about winter weddings is the early sunsets, so by the time lunch was finished we snuck away and got a few
more photos in the late afternoon sun. It was such a special day, that couldn’t have worked out any better.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Perera! 🥂
